The
New Bedford Business Park is the most reasonably priced Business
Park in Massachusetts, with a low haggle-free pricing policy. It
is also the hottest park with 29 sales and 15 expansions since
1998. The Business Park has received approval of a Master Plan
from the Massachusetts Environmental Protection Agency in
September 2004 for full build-out of the Park. This will save
new companies 9-24 months of state permitting process time and
costs. The Park has a 90-day local permitting time in both New
Bedford and nearby Dartmouth. As of December 2007, 165 acres
remain available for sale with sites ranging from 5 to 45 acres.
Newcomers to the beautiful Business Park will join such high
profile firms as Titleist, Symmetry Medical, AFC Cable Systems,
and Morgan Advanced Ceramics.
The New Bedford Business Park has the most direct access of any
park in the area with its entrance right off Route 140 Exit 7.
Route 140 joins Interstate 195 five minutes to the south, thus
putting Cape Cod 30 minutes to the east, and Providence 30
minutes to the west. Route 24 and Interstate 495 are a mere
10-15 minutes to the north. The New Bedford Airport borders the
Park, while T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, R.I. (outside
Providence) is a short drive, and Logan Airport in Boston is
only 60 minutes away. A CSX rail line runs through The Park and
New Bedford’s deep-water port is close by.
