Businesses get NBEDC help adjusting to new insurance
regulations
Beginning
January 1, 2007, new insurance regulations take affect
in Massachusetts. The New Bedford Economic Development
Council together with La Pointe Insurance is offering
help to business owners in preparation for the changes.
The NBEDC will conduct a seminar Friday, October 27,
2006, on health care reform and workers’ compensation in
Massachusetts, focusing on how the new regulations
affect business owners. The seminar will be held from
8:00 to 9:30am at the NBEDC office, 1213 Purchase St.,
3rd floor of the Quest Center.
