NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford-based furniture store has been gaining broader recognition in design and trade magazines in recent months.
Family-owned and operated, Regal House Furniture has been designing and installing comfortable, quality living spaces for over 25 years from its base in the North End of New Bedford. The store has contributed to successful design projects ranging from open, airy homes in the woods of New Hampshire to trendy urban restaurants and is noted for its contemporary approach to traditional design.
Located on Church Street, Regal House Furniture provides quality products to both consumers and industry professionals. Their recent New Hampshire project was recently featured in Trend Watch Magazine.
When asked what sets them apart, owner Debra (Santos) Holden shared her secret to success.
“We have always taken a broader view of our market. We offer a wide range of styles and price points which makes Regal House Furniture attractive to a larger client base,” said Holden. “To be sure we offer our customers the best shopping experience, we have (also) assembled a service oriented staff including specialists in all elements of interior design.”
Diversity in product, price point and market are largely what has kept this small family run business thriving in a competitive industry through trying economic times, the store said in a release.
